UM named among 50 best colleges

CollegeChoice.net named the University of Mississippi No. 16 in its list of “50 Best Colleges for Summer School.” Here’s some of what the site said about Ole Miss, Oxford and the surrounding area:

“… The city is home to the University of Mississippi (UM), and Livability.com notes its unusual blend of ‘screaming football fans’ and elegance. In terms of things to do, Oxford is full of culinary delights and great cycling routes — plus it opens the door to diverse hiking trails. Nearby lakes include Sardis, Enid and Grenada, while John Kyle State Park and Cossar State Park provide a host of water sports and outdoor adventure options. The Holly Springs National Forest is another must-see local attraction, featuring as it does three further lakes and an array of flora and fauna. UM’s summer terms run from May 28 to July 25.”
